“He's been called Floyd 'Maynever'. He may never fight again,” the well known boxing figure said in a slideshow report posted by writer Chris Robinson on Examiner.com.

“He didn't seem to want to fight Pacquiao and he may never fight again depending on the charges,” said Sugar.
The boxing historian said that aside from Mayweather’s problems with the law, the American boxer may also have other "problems."
“I can't comment on [his legal issue], I'm not a psychiatrist. But he does seem to have problems,” Sugar said.
Mayweather is facing charges for allegedly beating up his former girlfriend Josie Harris. If convicted of all the charges, the unbeaten boxer could face more than 30 years in jail.
Pacquiao’s promoter, Top Rank’s Bob Arum, had aggressively negotiated to arrange a multi-million dollar fight between the Filipino and Mayweather.
The first round of talks saw the American demanding that both he and Pacquiao undergo blood testing close to fight night, which was rejected by the Filipino champion.
However, when Pacquiao acceded to this demand during the second round of talks, Mayweather’s camp denied that they were negotiating for the fight.
Pacquiao, now a congressman representing Sarangani province, eventually decided to face Antonio Margarito of Mexico on November 13
