Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao excited to be back In LA

LOS ANGELES – Manny Pacquiao is happy to be back in Los Angeles, California where he has three more weeks before his upcoming championship fight against Antonio Margarito in Texas.

The Sarangani congressman Pacquiao stuck to his usual routine Sunday – church at Christ the King.
“I’m happy here. The fight is close. I’m excited to go back to the Wildcard Gym and then after the fight, I’ll go back to the Philippines to my work,” he said.

For a man of his stature, Pacquiao gives homage to God. He said Sunday is an important day to ray for nor only himself and his family but also for Margarito.
“I pray for the safety of everybody not only for myself but for all those who are fighting that night…” he added.
Pacquiao arrived Saturday night 8:30 local time where a sea of fans awaited.

The world’s pound-4-pound boxer was mobbed up on exiting the Tom Bradley International Airport in LAX.
Pacquiao will begin 2-a-day workouts tomorrow. He’ll do his usual run up in Griffith Park, take a quick nap before an afternoon session with Freddie Roach at the Wildcard Gym.

He said the most important thing for him and his team is to continue what they started in Baguio City.
“We’re going to maintain the training that we did in Baguio and maintain our conditioning,” he said.
